Here at OMG Bouncy Castle Hire, we understand that hiring out an inflatable to a venue or home address it may not be as easy as it may first appear, so we have prepared this list of frequently asked questions to answer everything that we can early on! You can find the answers to our most commonly asked questions in order to make organising your hire a lot simpler and stress free. If we have missed anything off, you can always give us a call! Q. Can I hire a bouncy castle outside on a hard surface?

A. All our inflatables need to be secured to the ground outside using metal pegs. Because of this and not being able to secure the unit safely enough and to cover our insurance we can't do hard standing outside to meet BSEN 14960:2016. We can do them indoors on a hard surface though.


Q. How long do we have the bouncy castle for?

A. For outdoor bookings, we deliver in the morning between 7am and 12 and collect between 4pm to 7pm. For indoor bookings, we work around your venue booked times.


Q. Do you have insurance for your bouncy castles you hire?

A. Yes, we have public liability insurance up to £5 million pound.


Q. Is your electrical equipment PAT tested?

A. Yes, it is.


Q. Can we collect our bouncy castle?

A. Unfortunately, this cannot be done, our insurance requires we set up each and every bouncy castle.


Q. Do your bouncy castles have rain covers?

A. Yes, most of our bouncy castles have shower covers.


Q. Can I cancel my bouncy castle hire booking?

A. You can and details of charges are listed in our cancellation policy.


Q. My garden is on a slope?

A. This depends on the slope, If it is just a small gradient then yes.


Q. Can I hire overnight?

A. Of course, as long as it's a secure garden/area. A small charge of £30 applies.


Q. Do you offer any discounts?

A. Yes, we offer a discount on multiple items and also have a great range of package deals.


Q. Can we hire for more than one day?

A. Yes, you can providing, the area is totally secure, i.e locked indoors or with 6ft fences and locked gates for outdoors.


Q. Can you provide staff to man/staff your equipment?

A. We can, however, there is an additional hourly charge for this.


Q. What areas do OMG Bouncy Castle Hire Cover?

A. OMG covers Leicester, Derby, Coventry, Nottingham, Northampton, Warwickshire. and surrounding areas. On some occasions, we do travel out of these areas, depending on what items you are looking to hire. Please contact a member of the team if you think that you are not situated in any of these areas and we will see what we can do for you.


Q. Do you offer any discount?

A. We are happy to apply 20% off on to all cheaper items found within your booking. This does not include our party games or extras.


Q. Do I require a generator?

A. A generator is required if you did not have a power supply within 50 metres of the location in which the castle is situated.


Q. How does payment work?

A. We ask for a deposit of 25% at the time of booking. This can be paid over the phone by card or via a payment link. The remaining balance is paid on the day. Alternatively we can send you an invoice, however, we would require full payment.


Q. Do all prices include VAT?

A. We are a VAT registered business, so all prices include VAT.


Q. How many children can go on an inflatable at one given time?

A. We do have a safety guideline for every inflatable, this can be found for each individual inflatable on each page. Simply click on numbers of users and you will find out what is recommended.


Q. How far in advance do I need to book?

A. We would recommend that you book as far in advance as possible as there is always the chance that the item you want will become booked out.


Q. How do I know when my items will be delivered?

A. Delivery is between 7-11am and collection between 5-7pm. A text is sent to you two days prior to your event date, with a more specific time.


Q. My event is taking place at a venue can you work to my times or is it the usual delivery times?

A. If your event is taking place in a venue we will work to your times for you providing that delivery is not required before 7am and collection is no later than 7pm.


Q. Can I keep items overnight?

A. Yes, you can keep items overnight for an additional charge.
